Every school year, there are many people needed school supplies including teachers. If they learn to invest money and save up over the year, then they will have more money to afford teaching materials. You can get a book on investing and start small. Don’t over-invest and put all your savings into your investments. You can even use what you learn when you learn to invest to teach the kids if appropriate.
